Synaura’s Dedication to Science
Even to the seasoned biologist, the story of the maqui berry is incredibly compelling. As a stand-alone botanical, it is the most powerful antioxidant known to mankind, boasting the highest natural Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) value of any fruit. For centuries, maqui has been used to treat a wide range of health conditions and contains such powerful benefits that, even under strict contemporary standards, its juice could be bottled and marketed as a bona fide super fruit. But Synaura saw the possibilities of something revolutionary. Our vision transcended a single fruit juice and explored the possibility of combining maqui with other natural ingredients– consequently creating AVIA.
AVIA, Synaura’s innovative liquid supplement, is the next generation in super formulas, optimizing a blend of maqui and other synergizing ingredients, including the exclusive components discussed below.
ASTAXANTHIN
Natural Astaxanthin contains up to 550 times the antioxidant activity of vitamin E and 10 times the antioxidant activity of beta-carotene. Further, it surpasses many benefits of Vitamin C and other carotenoid antioxidant groups. Astaxanthin can repair sun-exposed skin, support immune function, increase energy, improve joint health and aid in building strong cardio health. Astaxanthin achieves its speed and affect by crossing the blood brain barrier and bonding directly to tissue.
Trans-Resveratrol
Studies have shown Trans-Resveratrol, found in red wine and black grapes, is a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent as well as a critical cell-signaling molecule. Recent Harvard studies showed Trans-Resveratrol to be a unique regulator of longevity genes known as Sirtuins.[1] Resveratrol has been touted as having substantial cardiovascular benefits. It promotes arterial health by preventing plaque formation, and reduces blood clots by precluding platelet bonding.
Bacopa
Bacopa has gained notoriety for numerous purported benefits, among these are brain function (i.e. enhanced memory and learning), improved management of anxiety, depression and stress, and has shown results in treating epilepsy and ADHD.
Turmeric
Classified as one of nature’s most powerful healers, turmeric has been used for centuries for its anti-inflammatory properties. It has been associated with the prevention of prostate cancer as well as slowing the progression of Alzheimer’s. As an anti-inflammatory, turmeric has been used as a natural treatment for arthritis, depression, and weight management, while also assisting in repairing damaged and wounded skin.
Milk Thistle
For over 2000 years, herbalists have studied the correlation between milk thistle seeds and liver protection and regeneration. Milk extracts from the plant are often referred to as “liver tonics”. Other benefits reported include lowering cholesterol levels, reducing insulin resistance for type 2 diabetics, and treatment of gallbladder disorders. In some cases, milk thistle has been used in the treatment of hepatitis and cirrhosis.
Quercetin
Quercetin is a plant-derived flavonoid used as a nutritional supplement. Quercetin is found in capers, lovage, apples, tea, onion, red grapes, citrus fruit, and more. During in vitro studies, quercetin displayed significant anti-inflammatory properties that inhibited the generation and release of histamine. It also exerts potent antioxidant activity. It has also been reported to have positive effects in combating cataracts, bronchitis, asthma, and prostatitis.
